I am delighted to welcome you to yet another edition of NAPIMS News. In this edition, we present our cover story on the recent “surprise” visit of the Group Managing Director, NNPC, Mr. Austin Oniwon to NAPIMS office in Lagos.

The highlights of the visit and his pronouncements on current industry issues are discussed in greater details. In a swift change of events, the new GGM NAPIMS, Mr. M. Fiddi took over the mantle of NAPIMS leadership when Dr. Ayo Balogun, erstwhile GGM handed over to him. Towards the realization of the Feder designed al Government’s objective in ensuring that the industry makes positive impact on the lives of the people in whose communities the JV/ PSC operates, NAPIMS and her JV partners have strategies that will deliver enhanced sustainable community development to the people of the Niger Delta.

In this edition, NAPIMS NEWS draws you into the new world order in community development as created by the deliverables of the GMOU strategy and MOU being implemented by Chevron Nigeria Limited and Total Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited. NipeX is unrelenting in creating awareness that the Nigerian Petroleum Exchange is a key tool for improving the processes in the oil and gas industry today. We bring to you the highlights of their presence in various conferences and exhibitions. Other features which include the interactive session held between the GGM and the JV/PSC Operators, our health column which is focused on the care of our teeth are amongst other stories.
