I want to start by appreciating the energy and spirit that have been brought into this publication by most of our contributors. This is what we have been asking for over a long time and we are so appreciative of your response. On that note, I welcome you to yet another exciting edition of NAPIMS NEWS.

In this edition, we bring you the highlights on the facility tour of the Group Executive Director, Exploration and Production of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Engr. Andy Yakubu to the Bases of some Logistics Companies operating in the Oil and Gas Industry. Engr.Yakubu enjoined the companies to take full advantage of the Local Content Law not only to expand their scope and capacity but strive for global competitiveness both in price and quality.

Prior to embarking on the facility tours, Engr. Yakubu held a Townhall Meeting with NAPIMS Management and Staff during which he stressed the need to uphold the core values of NNPC ie Transparency and Accountability amongst others.

In the same vein, the Group General Manager, NAPIMS, Mr. Morrison A. Fiddi, convened a Townhall meeting in NAPIMS to address the disturbing security situation in the country and brainstorm with staff on the measures to be taken to secure lives and national assets.

In our quest to keep you abreast of the efforts of the NNPC and her Joint Venture Partners on sustainable community developments, we highlight some projects by the NNPC/ NAOC & NNPC/PANOCEAN Joint Venture Companies.
