The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Engr. Austen Oniwon led a strong delegation of top Management staff of NNPC on an oversight visit to the Corporation’s Chad Basin Operations. During the visit, Engr. Oniwon pledged that going by the advanced technology being deployed, NNPC, this time around should find oil in the region, if it exists. Details of the visit is brought to you.

Also in this edition, we bring you the highlights of the ongoing projects in the Niger Delta Area. These are the combined efforts of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and one of its joint venture partners – Shell Petroleum Development Company. The NNPC, in partnership with the Oil Operating Companies, have shown tremendous commitment to carrying out Community Development Projects in the various parts of the country especially those impacted by oil and gas operations. We are also featuring an overview of the cash call mechanism as it relates to the joint venture operations funding.
